Project Description: The purpose of the proposed project is to continue partnerships building in the McKay watershed and implement two key multi-benefit projects that will reduce flood risk to the City of Pendleton. 

A contractor will use a combination of bio-engineering and floodplain reconnection techniques to design a holistic multi-benefit project for two locations in lower McKay. Using the bio-engineering method by design should minimize future erosion, filter pollutants from surface runoff as well trapping wood debris lending to rebuilding the banks while also improving fish habitat. 

Next Steps: Contractor has begun work completing objectives.
